Mandara Spa is a Vaughan Spa established in 2007 by Manvir Kooner and Paul Kooner. As you settle into the ultra-Zen reception lounge at Mandara Spa you will instantly notice your breath harmonize with the tranquil rhythm of the trickling water wall as your senses settle into the calming aromas that surround you. The peaceful ambiance transports you - divine Buddha figures, peaceful background music, burning candles, dim lighting and other serene elements set the mood for the day.
The name Mandara is appropriately derived from an ancient Sanskrit legend about eternal youth - the pursuit of being “forever young.” It’s by this mantra that Manvir and her dedicated team of estheticians, nail technicians, registered massage therapists, medical estheticians and makeup and hair stylists provide their magical elixir of rejuvenating services for skin, body, and hair.

About the Kooner's
Mandara Spa is about united strength. The essence of generosity instilled into founders Paul and Manvir Kooner, brother and sister dynamic-duo.
Mandara Spa is the creation of passion, family, and a little bit of luck. Family was always the first of the Kooner’s priorities. After building a life in Toronto, Manvir took to Vancouver when her eldest brother fell physically ill to care for him, doing whatever it meant to support her family.
In a new town, Manvir took this as an opportunity to explore new interests. She took an Aesthetics course to transition from the stressful corporate environment. Her background in coding contrasted greatly from the soothing industry she is in now. Eventually, as her father saw her growing passion in the health and beauty industry. Her family unanimously supported her in pursuing her passion and transforming creative vision to life.
Manvir and Paul’s strengths complimented each-other.
Paul Kooner brought an eccentric energy into every room he walked into. An Intelligent, giving and down-to-earth man, he became the life of every party. His warm friendly nature and charm soon captured many hearts who became his friends and loyal customers.
Paul was always looking for new ways to bring Mandara Spa to the next level, looking for services that would benefit his clients, dreaming of expansion, to continuously move forward. Paul managed the business side of Mandara Spa, while Manvir focused on providing the utmost client care.
Manvir Kooner is a natural giver and the kindest of souls. She is driven by the happiness of others, making her perfectly suitable for this service-industry she thrives in. Manvir never needed a break from Mandara Spa. In fact, her first week off in ten years was following Paul’s passing.
To Manvir, Mandara Spa is her child. The first and last thing on her mind every day. She promises to do what is best for her clients, what she would do for herself, what she would do for her family. She is here to educate. She is here for your best interest in the long-run, never providing you with a service you will regret one day by hiring only the best professionals to serve you.
